Collie Rescue
|
| The following list of members, who are involved in rescue and fostering of
purebred Collies, is provided as an accommodation by the Club. The
members who perform rescue services are not employed by the Club and do
not represent the Club as agents or in any other capacity. The Club
assumes no responsibility for the actions of such persons nor for any
transactions or dealings anyone may have in using their services. |
Updated: July 2007: If you are interested in a collie from a rescue organization and one of the below rescue contacts do not have collie that will
fit in with your family, please contact Houston Collie Rescue or Austin Collie Rescue.
They have been involved in a large rescue and have
collies in need of forever homes right away. All the collie rescues in Texas are
staffed entirely by volunteers. If you are unable to adopt a collie at this time, you may send them a donation and it may be tax
deductible depending on the rescue organization.

Adoptees Jackson, Nate and Isabelle
Rescue Parade 2003
|
| Ode To Nate |
He is a strong, handsome dog
Sleek and stout of tail
Small, deep-set eyes that admire
With gentle wisdom and kindness
Taking in your likeness
Courteous, cultured and distinguished
But also given to times of playfulness and celebration
A hearty eater with an even larger appetite for petting and praise
A good friend in a fine hair suit
Always one to clean his plate
We sometimes call him 'N-dog'
and more oft call him Nate |
